The province Värmland is rich in natural resources such as iron ore, forest and water. They laid the foundation for prosperity in Värmland.
The availability of iron ore eventually made us some of the world´s best manufacturers of tool steel. The forest gave us unique knowledge linked to pulp and paper industry. And as an extension of that value chain, we are now involved in developing the packaging solutions of the future!
When establishing in Värmland you will experience that we have a deep co-operation between the public, private and academic sectors - we also call it the Värmland model.

A new triple-helix based test environment with a unique and independent test lab for research and product development in ICT has been developed as part of the ICT network Compare. Read more
